Im looking to buy on of these tvs soon. Im coming from a 46a650. Right now there are good prices for these on amazon but my question is, Is the 55b8000 400 dollars better then the 55b6000. i dont really care about the internet capabilities, just really picture quality. What do u guys thinkg

I just posted a question regarding a SAMSUNG 55B6000.

Its a beautiful device except fot the blacks having a blotchy quality, lack of uniformity, kind of like having the milky way across the screen. Very annoying when watching movies with lots of dark (pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc).


I wanted to upgrade to an 8000 series but the techs (and I) suspect its the LED. Am about to change this unit (the 2nd one with this problema) for a plasma even though my room has a lot of light.
