Am I the only one who doesn't like the IR performance of the IR receiver on

LN40A750 TV ? If I don't point exactly on the TV it doesn't work.

My Xantech receiver picks up the signal all the time in any direction

but the TV doesn't. I even tried to set up blaster near by but it still

doesn't work properly

Also tested with AllinOne remote - same problem

Harmony 880 much better but still not perfect.

(Yes i installed new batteries to make sure)


Any ideas ?

I have an LN40A530, pretty different TV but I am also having issues with the IR receiver performance. Basically if I'm outside of 30-45 degrees from the center line or up or down it won't work. It's pretty frustrating. Have you had any luck with this issue?
