I have focused on the HLN 50" units after following this forum for a while now. (Thanks Doug Deacon) Where will the Motorola HDTV converter (C Band satellite) plug into the new unit if the Samsung T165 OTA input goes to the DVI? I have a Christmas gift newer Toshiba progressive DVD (SD 4800). Should I take it back to Worst Buy for credit or refund against the upcoming Samsung DVD? Can I limp along with the old (!!) Toshiba 2107 until the release in June or later?

Will a newer Denon (3803) surround sound with its multiple outputs match well with the Samsung as an HDTV choice. Thanks in advance for any input and I complement the quality of info from this forum.

A lot of people prefer non-progressive input to component one. I would get the credit.

Yeah, like any C band stuff has DVI. Motorola hasnt designed anything new in about 2 years so don't worry about needing DVI for anything C band related.

The Motorola HD decoder for the 4DTV does not have DVI out, only YPbPr or RGB analog. It's not an issue.

I doubt the box is even smart enough to do the down res if copy control flags are present in the signal.
