Hi all.
I've never owned an HD TV or a DLP of any type, but I saw a Samsung HL-S5686 DLP at a local brick and mortar store that was advertised for what I thought is a good price. I thought it looked pretty good, and 720p is all I really need at this time.
I was wondering why they were selling for quite a bit lower than others (like, comparably priced DLPs were only 42" or so, if that.) Are they discontinuing the model and have to move inventory or something? If it's a steal, I may pick it up.
Are they reliable? I liked the picture, even with the generic feed in the store. Only thing that I would have to get extra is a big enough stand.
