i was wondering if the new samsung 50 dlp comes with the new firmware that has the discreet codes

The discrete codes are available in all Samsung DLP sets that have version 214 or greater of the firmware. There was a transition period but any set manufactured since the middle of summer should be sure to have a firmware version greater than 214.
