I would think that this depends upon how you're going to provide a PAL signal. The DLP owner's manual makes no mention of this specifically, but does say "A TV designed for one system may not work properly with another systems due to differences in the TV channel frequencies." My interpretation of this is if you take a TV made for the US market overseas, it may not work on PAL. However, if you are staying in the US and you have a VCR or DVD that can play PAL, you probably will be able to display these images. May not be much help.
