I just picked up a new Samsung UN55F7100, and overall it's pretty good.

I've just been really very distracted by some crosstalk/ghosting in some scenes.  It's not consistent, and I'm not sure how to fix it.

The Samsung uses active shutter glasses, and I've noticed that a lot of the time the ghosting is only in one eye - if I shut one of my eyes, I can see the ghosted image, while the other eye sees an image that is crisp and clear.  If I look without the glasses, I can see that the ghosting is really that my one eye is seeing both of the images at the same time.  If that makes any sense.  Like my right eye is seeing what's meant for the right eye, but there's also a faint view of exactly what was meant for the left eye

See, I'm pretty sure the way it works is the screen very quickly (120 Hz) flashes the left eye view and the right eye view one at a time, and the glasses alternately block one eye and the other in sync.  So it seems that my glasses are falling out of sync with the tv when I get this ghosting.  It'll alternate between the right eye out of sync, then it's perfect, and then the left eye is out of sync.  Not exactly, but kind of.  It's hard to tell sometimes.

Is this happening to anyone else??  Is there anything we can do to help with it?

I also have a Samsung UNF7100 & I'm sorry to say that your best bet may be to simply replace the tv.

I experienced annoying crosstalk issues that could be somewhat alleviated by cranking up the brightness but of coursed that also diminished the PQ as well.

From what I understand the 7100 Samsung panels are made by Sharp & there screens have a reputation for crosstalk/ghosting. Recently changed to a 6400 series & I'm seeing quite an improvement.
