OK, I bought a 42" samsung from Sam's club auction for $701.00 total.


I can not find the viewing angle spec for this TV anywhere. I have searched everywhere.


I have found specs for the ph42a400 and I am hoping that my HP-t4234 has the same specs.


Can anyone tell me what the specs are on the Samsung hpt4234 that I bought??


I haven't received it yet and I am hoping that I bought a good model.


Please respond if you can.

the 4234 is the sam's club version of the 4254. it is a 07 model. that is a decent deal seeing as the tv went for over a $1k last year, but with how technology evolves and prices drop, this years models with the same specs are around the same price. there is a master thread discussion the xx34 and xx54 models.


i have a 4254 for the bedroom. it is a 720p/1080i tv. nice picture, good "pop" but does have IR issues even with about 800-1000 hours on it. this is a tv i definately recommend doing the break in on.

Generally, Samsung rates their plasmas at up to 175 degrees viewing angles.
