Can anyone tell me how to set up the Samsung HLP to get a 1:1 pixel mapping without losing the edges to the screen to overscan, or having the picture scaled down? If I use the mode that shows the entire image, it's scaled down and fuzzy. When i go to 1:1, I lose too much to overscan.

I'm guessing I need to use the Nvidia custom resolution, but I haven't had much luck finding settings that work...

Anyone? Buehler? Anyone? ;-)

Wide PC compresses the screen, but when I select Expand, it seems to stretch the screen out no matter what resolution I choose in the Nvidia drivers.

Can anyone point me to a thread or something that will help me get a 1:1 display without losing the edges to overscan? I'd greatly appreciate it!

I copied this from a thread in the "Rear Projection Units" Forum from a thread i think called samsung tweaks and tricks. It was posted a long time ago. So go to that forum and search for more info.

using powerstrip i just created a custom resolution of 1248x702, then rebooted, then went back into display settings and choose my new resolution... the trick was to then change the aspect mode on the TV to NORMAL, it was always strange to me that we were not ussing normal mode for 1280x720... anyways, everything works great.
