well after 37 days my hlp crapped out on me...I'm extremely dissappointed. I'm in quite a dilemma right now...fortunately circuit city is still willing to trade my tv for the same model or any other tv in the store. I'm wondering if I should get the same tv with the extended warranty or purchase something new. The tv that I really want which is the toshiba dlp isn't carried by cc. So my only options are sony, panasonic, or hitachi. Do any of these brands carry a model that is comparable to the sammy dlp for the same price...possibly the hitachi 50v500? I could also get store credit and wait for something better to come along. Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

If you are thinking of going the LCD route, try to spend the extra $$ (or see what CC will negotiate) and get the Hitachi 810. Big difference than the 500, and the PQ will compare nicely to the 63
