Hi, I recently bought a Samsung HT-DS1000 Home Theater with HDMI output and progressive scan. The problem is that the HDMI output is HDCP enabled BUT my Sony Plasma Screen has a DVI input which is not HDCP enabled. Does enyone know a hack to deactivate the HDCP Function in the HT ?. I found hacks for other Samsung Models but none for the HT-DS1000.

Thanx,

Stefanos

Your first post here and you want a member within a public forum to help you commit a possible crime defeating HDCP?

hint: search black box or distribution amp.

Although i am sure they are now sold out, maybe you can find one on the usenet.

Be prepared to pay a steep price.

I would suggest go to amazon or other for the HD841 for just under $60 to your door via refurb.
