Samsung HW-Q900A not playing Atmos

Hi all,

I have a Samsung HW-Q900A connected via eARC to an LG C1, and I can't seem to get Dolby Atmos through any AppleTV apps or my Blu-Ray player. I'm definitely using Atmos supported content, and I have EARC and Passthrough enabled on the C1. I've powercycled everything, and the AppleTV is definitely enabling Atmos when using just the speakers of the C1.

Any ideas? I'm stumped!

I ran into a similar issue with a FireTV 4k Max stick, and I updated the firmware on the unit, the FireTV stick, same problem -- then I tried changing the volume with the TV remote instead of the soundbar remote and as far as I can tell, that kicked it on. I suspect just common or garden HDMI handshake f***ery, but who knows? After that all remotes worked. Make sure you have CEC turned on via the TV tho. And I assumed you've installed Smart Things -- opens up a TON of control features for the Q900A that might kick it into gear.
