Okay I will begin my story. I ordered a Viewsonic 22" HDTV (here: newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889107042 ). I ordered it at costco since it was only $319.99. I ordered it Sunday and they said it usually ships out the next business day. Well it is Friday and it is not shipped yet. So my parents just got back from costco shopping and they told me there is a Samsung 22" for $389.99. The Samsung TV is located (here: newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001278 ).
The Samsung is listed as a monitor and the ViewSonic can be used as a monitor as well, but has a DTV (ATSC) tune. What is that? But then also says Built-in TV Tuner. Is that for regular cable? Because the ViewSonic just says HDTV Tuner Inside. I would be using this as a TV for cable and also my PS3.
I believe I can still cancel my order for the ViewSonic since I am very mad at Costco's online service. And I could just go the store and pick up the Samsung for a little bit more and have it immediately.
What should I do? Also please look at specs of both and decide, just don't go by name.
Also I forgot to mention:
Samsung can achieve 1080p and the Viewsonic is 720p and 1080i. But I don't think seeing 1080p on a monitor this small you will see a difference.
