Samsung LN-R469D and SA - 8300hd problem

Hi, I recently bought a Samsung LN-R469D lcd tv I also have the Sa 8300hd box with Comcast. I just hooked everything up, currently using component cables from box to tv.

I have a receiver and dvd connected as well. Problem that Im having is I cant use any function on the sa 8300 hd remote when the tv is turned on for some reason. If I turn the power on the tv off, the remote begins to work like it normally should. Turning the tv back on causes it to stop immediately. I am only operating the tv and cable box while this problem is occurring so I don't think the receiver or dvd is posing any problems. Any help with this would be great, as I can't seem to figure out whats wrong. Thanks in advance.

For anyone who is interested, I found out that my tv Samsung Lnr-469d is causing interference to my dvr (sa 8300 hd). Basically it wont allow me to use the dvr remote in anyway. I can manually change channels from the dvr box itself but have no use of the remote while the tv is on! If I turn the tv off, dvr remote works like it should.

Supposedly tv's with the latest technology like mine are having conflicts with Scientific Atlanta boxes. As far as a solution to this problem I haven't found one yet. Anyone?
