I'm thinking about purchasing either of the two, and was wondering how the connection via VGA was to your PC. Anyone have any experience with these LCDs? Does the VGA connection offer the user a 1:1 pixel mapping ratio? How is the quality of the VGA connection compared to DVI?
We just bought a 3251D for the store (we're about to open). It works perfectly when connected via VGA. You can set 1360x768 (almost 1:1 mapping) and it gives you a perfect screen with no overscan. The picture looks pretty hot on this TV. The best part is that it just works once you setup the resolution in the PC settings.
Pretty good. We have three LCDs in the store (a 40" JVC 1080p, 26" Sharp and the Samsung). I think the Samsung looks the best. It's definately the brightest!
