ok so my aunt has a samsung ln52a580p6f tv

Out of warranty of course.lol

i am pretty good with electronics but dont know much about this TV

It has RED, Blue, Green, white, black, and purple lines going vertical in the middle of the picture. about 6 inches across and run from top to bottom, i have changed out the TCON board but it didnt help, any ideas, i have picture of it if anyone would like to see.

Did you change the capacitors? Google "Samsung capacitor problem." You may be entitled to a free repair even though it's out of warranty.

yes i have read about that, and it seems like that is only if you have problems with it turning on, this one turns on all the time no issues, no clicking. i have attached a pic of what it looks like.

yes looks like it, thanks, is there a way to fix it, or have to get new lcd panel (if so do you have any places to order it) or new tv?

That site, tho I know nothing about them, sells parts and could probably help you on cost and whether it's a good idea or not to fix it. Just go to their home page from the link and call or email them.


Again, I don't know them at all, just a handy site for diagnosing problems.
