Can anyone help me find the native resolution on this tv..

I thought it was 1080p but bestbuy says the native is 768... WTF..????

This is the only place that I saw the native posted as this.. however I could not FIND the native posted ANYWHERE else.. not even on the Samsung site!

What's weird is it has it as the Samsung LNS4695DX .. (note the X on the end)

Did samsung make a LNS4695DX??


If someone can help me and find the native and maybe post a link to it I would appreciate it .. thanks.

I looked at the BB site you referred to & all I can see is 1080p listed.


Anyway, the 4695D IS DEFINITELY a 1080p native display.

The LN-S4695DX is the BestBuy model.

The LN-S4695D is the CircuitCity model.

Both are identical TV's. I think they renamed them so people couldn't price match.

CircuitCity shows the resolution to be 1080p (1920x1080).

BestBuy is probably wrong on their specifications page.

I bought the LN-S4695D from CC last month. I hooked my XBox 360 up w/ the VGA-HD cable and 1920 X 1080 was the highest resolution displayed as an option in the 360 dashboard and that's what I play it on. I would say that it is 1080p native.
