Okay, so my mom called me yesterday and said her bedroom tv died. She was going to run to costco and buy a 22" Visio she saw that had a good price. While there, she saw this Samsung for a good price. I thought great... my two LCD's at home are Samsung and I have been very pleased. Then she sent me the info on what she got. First thing that struck me was this was a 23"... I thought their tv's were 22 or 26? Anyway, here is the info she sent me:

I take it that this is a computer monitor. Will it work as a bedroom tv? She has IO with a regular box. Any help is appreciated. TIA

It's a monitor with a tuner. According to the specs it has a component input and a composite. Most cable boxes have one of those two options as outputs. They list the "remote controller" as optional so you may need to pick her up something to control the volume and power with.

Now i interested as to how it compares to my 26" Samsung Hd LCD tv. Glad it should work, thanks for the info.
