I am considering getting the Samsung SIRT150 receiver for my Pioneer Elite 510. I am only interested in getting local OTA broadcasts. Does anyone have experience with this combination? If so, I'd like to hear how it performs. Thanks

It should work fine. The Samsung SIR-T150 has four user-selectable output formats (1080i, 720p, 480p, and 480i, plus full-time 480i downconversion) and your choice of YPbPr or RGBs output connectors.

bastein, I'm using the sirt150 and love it. It's hooked up to a sony 10ht. I run it in native 720 mode. No muss, no fuss.

I tried the RCA and then the Sony and didn't like either. Just to slow. So, I figured I'd give up SatTV until something better comes along and bought the Samsung for OTA only. I'm not sorry I did but now with sports on SatTV and maybe the Zenith will be the box we are all hoping for I'm ready to go to it as soon as it's out. If it's any good I'll make you a deal on the Samsung if your willing to wait
