Any ideas on what the red blotches are? It happens on all inputs, tried the factory reset and updated the firmware. Nothing has worked yet.

What cables do you have hooked up to it for the video.

HDMI from DirecTV, PS3, computer and component from Xbox 360. They've been swapped out with new wires but still same picture.

Are all devices causing the same issue?

Yes, all devices, all inputs.

I would say at this point, you have a issue with the set, if all devices are giving the same effect. Also if settings on the set have been placed in default through a reset, I would say it be broke.
