I saw those sets today and was very impressed with the overall PQ. What worries me is that I'm not sure this set is good for gaming... does it have too much input lag? How about image retention?

The research I have done so far on AVS lead me to believe IR is really a probleme with this tv and that I will become nervous after any long gaming session...

Any input from people who use it to game? I'd say 35% of my TV use is to play Xbox, and I also watch a lot of football on sundays.

there is a stereo out jack on the back that you may be able to hook headphones up to.

Do you know if I still have control over the sound with my remote if I use this audio output?

i have a cheap sound system hooked up by the stereo out and the tv remote volume control doesnt change how loud it is.i would think you can hook headphones this way and use the phones volume control with the tv volume down as i do with my cheapo system.
