Got a new PN50C8000 last week, still in break in process using the webapalooza slides.


Just now I entered the Service Manu for the 1st time to check the panel time, under "SVC", I can see the panel time, also I noticed another item showing as:


T-CON CheckSum: Error


What does this mean? do I get something wrong on the TV?

Hi tolive:


I know it has been a while since you write this post but i now have the same problem you had and i was wondering if you resolved it. I dont know what to do, my tv performed perfect except that i know the error is there in the service menu and it worries me due to possible future repercussions
