Just wondering if anyone out there has any knowledge of how Samsungs' S..53 or S..73 series calibrate. From my speaking with people and the readings I've done, it sounds like the PQ goes from excellent to AMAZING with a proper calibration, can anyone verify?

The units do calibrate a lot better than the "2" series from last year which were attrocious ... to be kind.
But what the calibrated state looks like depends on where youhave it set now ...

On a 2-yr old Samsung 42" plasma, the screen is completely filling with small multicolored pixels and no image, whether from cable box, dvd, or just on without other source. Can you give me some potential causes and approx $ before I have a $150 pickup and diagnostic repair call?
