SMALL PROBLEM - THE SCREEN ON MY SAMMY HLR6167 SEEMS TO HAVE A WHIT SPOT IN THE MIDDLE - YOU CAN'T SEE IT WHEN ITS ON UNLESS It GOES TO A DARK SCENE -

IT LOOKS LIKE A SHADOW OF A LIGHT - BUT THERE IS NO LIGHT ON - ANY HELP

What Model do you have?

I also noticed something like this last night on my HL-T6189S. No lights on in the basement. Dark scenes, there is this faint 1/4 to 1/3 like smooth crescent moon shape. Almost directly in the center. Can see from close and from 10-14ft. Seems more visible in the "Movie" mode and less so when dynamic is selected (not that I would run it that way).

Anyone else?? Thoughts?

If you only see it when its off, its a normal reflection of room light onto the internal tv mirror. Check the info that came with the tv and you'll see an explanation.

If you see it when it's on. I don't know what causes that.
