Anybody else find it strange that Samsung's "C" line of LCD's are now shipping from retailers even though the specs have not been released? The only specs that can be found are the "general" types of specs like dimensions, etc...


I'm in the process of selecting an LCD TV for my bedroom and was intially excited to find out the "C" models were now on sale. However, there is no way I'm buying a TV w/o seeing the specs! It seems unreal that they would be selling these w/o releasing the specs.


I emailed Samsung about my interest in their new lines and even included the statement that they are available and shipping from retailers now. Below is the reponse I received:

Dear Samsung Customer,

With reference to your email, we understand that you want the Specifications of the 'C' Series LCD TVs.


We are sorry to say that we do not have information on the Specifications of these Models as these are upcoming models.


We suggest you keep visiting Samsung website regularly to know about the latest updates.


If you require any further information, feel free to contact us.

Samsung Online Support.


Hmmm... I would think that "upcoming models" would be "upcoming" and not "currently available"???

I mentioned this in the 2010 samsung models thread, most of the manuals for most of the C series sets are availble via the samsung support section of thier website.

I'm not sure exactly what specs you're looking for, but that should tell you a good bit about the TV. I'm waiting for a review or two to come in myself before I pick up a 46C650.

Looks like they are starting to slowly replace the models on the Samsung site right now and the specs are identical to the B series.


I did see you post in the other thread but the only way to access any of the C model specs was through your link. No sheets could be accessed through their site. No searches would even find anything for C models. And when I followed your link, only the physical dims were listed. It was like an incomplete spec sheet, which is the same thing they had on the internet retail sites.
