I hope this topic hasn't been beaten to death, but has anyone confirmed whether the current 2015 SUHD Samsung models support HDMI 2.0a with HDR? And if so - will it likely support Dolby Vision?

Supposedly HDR capable TVs can be upgraded to HDMI 2.0a with a simple firmware update. This update will allow the TVs to read the HDR data coming from native HDR sources like the upcoming UHD Blu-Rays.

There are many HDR standards including Dolby Vision. The UHD Blu-Rays will use the SMPTE standard for HDR content but Dolby Vision HDR will be an optional layer. The Samsung SUHD sets can display SMPTE HDR content with no problem. However, Dolby Vision is a little different. The only TV so far that officially supports Dolby Vision is the Vizio Reference Series. It would be nice if Dolby Vision could be added through an update.
