I just purchased the Samsung TS160 to go with my Samsung HLM617. I'm connecting through DVI, and also through a S-video to my SVHS recorder. When using the DVI connection I have a constant white dashed line at the bottom of the screen in all size formats. This problem does not exist when I go through the S-video connection. Also, DVD through component does not have this problem. Only through DVI.


I know that you can center the display with the DVI connection, and I have done this, but it only allows me to adjust the display left or right, not up or down.


Anyone know what maybe wrong, or what I might try?

If you have a line accross the bottom or the top, the only fix is to go into the service menu of the HLM617 and adjust the y-axis, here is a thread similar to your problem: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...t=hlm507+yaxis
