Hi, I have a Samsung UN40H5003 and I've been told 2.2 is the correct gamma to be used for movies; however, my display has no gamma setting but I was told I could go into the service menu and change it? I don't know what to do

samsungs are notorious for resetting inputs and
basically screwing up the picture if you don't know EXACTLY
how to navigate.

the user menu should have something to lower
or raise the gamma.

but with out a meter you don't know what you really have.

2.2 is for bright rooms with high contrast settings.
movies are more 2.35 to 2.4

go to the owners forum here and look for your model.

What exactly do you mean by resetting inputs?
