Good news is I just purchased a Samsung TXN3071 for $699.00 from Sears!


Bad News is that it was a customer return and the geometry settings are so bad I can only see a small portion of the stations logo in the right hand corner among other minor issues..


Can someone give me their settings in the deflection menu so I can have a starting point to make adjustments? I think mine are so far off that it would take me hours just to acquire the correct picture..


I made it a little easier by including the adjustments so all you have to do is add the numbers.. Thanks in advance..

thats normal for those samsungs to be offcenter like that. if i were you i would get the avia test disk.

I have the AVIA calibration disc, but like I said, it is taking me hours..my problem is with HDTV, but I can only make adjustments via 480p and have to switch back and forth to see the results...easier said than done..

I went back to the store and the salepeople were nice enough to let me take pictures of the service menu of the floor model.. the settings are not perfect and still need tweaking, but they are alot better than what I had previously..


Maybe these pics can help someone who messed up their settings..
