I'm debating between the Samsung UN32D5500 and the Samsung LN32D550.


The LN32D550 ($475) is a non-LED model, but it got top 32" rating on consumer reports.

The UN32D5500 ($550) seems very similar except it's an LED (with higher contrast)

Which one do you recommend and why?

if ur into thin, energy efficiency, running a relatively cool appliance, go 4r the LED, else the LCD should give u a more uniform display (better overall picture quality).

Thanks for the advice. I went with the LCD. The edge lit LED scared me esp with the probs people have had. Consumer rpt loved the LCD.
