OK, I have a question regarding the connection between these two units. I plan on hooking up the DVI out to the DVI in on the BenQ.


The Samsung gives me the option to output 480p, 720p and 1080i.


Since teh BenQ is a native 720p is that what I should set my dvd player to? Or should I feed it 1080i?

Set the Samsung to output 720p, it will look the best on your BenQ 8700. If you haven't bought the Samsung yet, there is a well documented black crushing issue with this player you may or may not find objectionable.
