Does this tv keep a log as to how long the lamp has been used?

I would appreciate any help.

is it tricky to get into the service menu? meaning i don't want to mess any settings or anything up by going in there. i'm pretty savvy with tech stuff but I don't want my investment to be a big paperweight.
