Not sure if this is the right area, but I was hoping someone could help me out. I just bought a slingbox classic off of craigslist, but it seems like it's not working. The power LED comes on, but the network light and the red "N" logo do not come on at all, even when first plugged in or after holding the reset button.

From my research, it seems like the culprit is probably a faulty power brick. I was hoping someone in the San Jose area could help me out. What I want to do is try and plug my unit into a known-good power supply to see if the network light comes on before I order a new PSU. It should only take like 30 seconds and I'd be very grateful!


The power brick specs differ from the later slingboxes I believe, what I need is a 6 volt, ~2A unit.
