we bought the Sanyo HT32744 and really like it. We do have a problem, and are hoping you might suggest a solution.
We have an Echostar satellite receiver for Dish Network, and we cannot program the TV remote to operate the receiver. When we enter the codes from Sanyo's manual, the remote flashes 5 times to indicate that it is the correct code, but the remote will not operated the Dish receiver.
I called Sanyo, and they told me that the remote and the Echostar must be incompatible. I find this hard to believe when there are so many inexpensive remotes which we can program to use with our Dish receiver.
It's also strange that they can manufacture such a great TV, but not a compatible remote.
Any ideas?
