I have a Sanyo PLV-60 projector and a Da-Lite snap 108" screen. The projector is ceiling mounted about 13 to 14' from the screen which seemed to work the best to fill the screen. I have what appears to be light from the projector hitting the screen. In some scenes you can't see it, in some where you are looking across from left to right or color changes from dark to light, like a fog scene you can see it. It projects on the screen in a different place depending on where you sit (seven sets, 4 on top and three on bottom). Any ideas

Also, what screen material? Also would help. It it is high gain, you might be seenig an odd reflection of some other light source.

Where are your speakers sitting? This happens to me when light reflects off of my center speaker that sits on the floor. My Swan center speaker has a high gloss finish on top and reflects back on the screen ...sometimes.

Actually it sounds like your projector needs to be calibrated. Those effects can occur when the brightness and contrast are incorrectly set.
