I just bought my first pj the other day. I really like this projector, the picture is amazing ,but the fan noise is just to much. Even with the eco-mode it´s hard to forget this annoying sound. I have a sound meter and really close to the PJ the level of the fan is 60 decibel. One meter away it´s about 40 decibel. Is the normal or is there something wrong. What can I do about it.

sounds like the fan is running in high/normal mode depsite the pj being in econo. Weird. I am guessing you have a good amount of clearance around the pj?


I'd send it back and tell them to fix it.

The sound is lower with the eco-mode. I wouldn´t dream of using the normal mode, that would be like sitting next to a sewing machine.

Mine is really really quiet, my pc is much louder. Something would appear to be wrong with yours....
