I've had a chance to see the Sony 11HT (not bad), the Sharp 9000 (pricey and a bit drab), and the Yamaha DPX1 (rainbows). The one that sounds like the best choice (based on reviews, at least) is the Sanyo. I don't know where to find one in this area, though. If anyone knows where I can audition one around here, please let me know (preferably set up with a Grayhawk!).
