I have a Sanyo XP21 and want to control the ability of a Stewart electric screen to go up and down. Since the XP21 does not have a 12 volt trigger switch, what other methods are possible? Has anyone had luck with current sensing devices without affecting AC or picture quality, or is there something else than could be used? What is needed from the Stewart side?

Thanks!

Yes, I could order the IR or R/F, but that means another remote or programming something like Pronto with a macro (which I could do). Just seems like there ought to be a simpler solution (extra boxes, sensors, etc). Just trying to understand all the alternatives (look) before I set up my screen (leap).

Sears craftsman part number 00924031. Sells for $19.95. Search on Sears for some examples of use with DILA projectors. Have this turn on a 12 volt transformer for a

trigger.
