I have downloaded a couple of demo clips from MS of wmvhd content and was very happy with the results. I was considering getting a couple of these dvd's for show. But I read the requirements and it seems that I need to set my htpc to a 1080i res; I have my htpc set to 940x540 (1/4 hd for a 1:1 pixel mapping) Anyone else running this system and able to actually play the dvd (vs the demo clips).

TIA

I Got the Z2 and downloaded a few wmv files to use as a demo.

The DVI input will be 720P so the Z2 does not do any resizing.

The laptop DVI output will be set to 720 to match the input of the Z2.

Using WMP 10 with S/SPID output it should make for a great sound and picture to create the wow factor in showing off my home theater.

If your playing the wmv files on the PC display it'll need to be set for 1024x768 for the 720P files or 1920x1080 for the 1080P.

Question I have is if you play the 1080P files on the PC and have the PC Video Card resize it to 720P will that be a better picture then just using the 720P wmv file?
