I hooked up the sat c kit and I do not get 90 or 198. I still get the 119 satellite, but nothing on the 110.

I unplugged my DTC100 for about 20 seconds. I am in the process of waiting for 1/2 hour for total reboot.

I measured voltage and I took the one with 17.8 volts and used that line to hook up with the sat c kit. Everything looks good, just nothing comming in.

I have a 5x8 multiswitch in my basement.

Transponders 8,10, and 12 all dead.

Please advise...

Fitsman,

Got mine working Tuesday night (in the rain, ugh).

Sounds like something is haywire with your setup.

First things first, I have the Mits STB, not the DTC, but here's what I had to go through:

1. Add the 3rd LNB & combiner to the 119 feed (can't remember if it's the 13 or 18 volt line, read the doc's to be sure).

2. Check signal strength on the 110 sat. If your getting nothing, then you have a wiring or hardware problem. Assume this is where you are stuck. Double check connections & try the other lead on the dual LNB, not sure you can measure them with a volt meter, though I don't see why not. Also asuming you already had the Oval dish and the 101 & 119 birds locked in, if not, then there's also the possibility of an alignment issue.

Once you get a signal on 110:

3. Reboot your box to get the new listings from DTV - you should then get a message to call x721 for subscription info.

4. Call DTV to have ShotimeHD added to your subscription.

I had everything hook up right...turns out the DTC100 needed to be told not only that the dish is oval, but that it is a 3 sat dish..I have not been in the menus in so long I did not even know that option was there.

Once I did that everything when fine and it was up and running.

Thanks for the help.
