hey there. I have no clue about desktop computors as i normally use my Laptop. But inorder to do somthing with my xbox 360 i need to use a sata port. Is this that same thing that plugs into my dvd drive and hard drive? Can i use that cable (is it the sata cable/port i am looking for)

Yes, but if the "something" you're trying to do it mod the firmware on your Xbox DVD drive, then you need to make sure the SATA controller is a specific type. Do a bit more research here before trying anything that might brick your Xbox.


Honestly, if you're not even sure what a SATA port looks like then maybe you should find someone a bit more knowledgeable to do the mod for you.

yeah, i will probably get it done by someone else. The problem comes with when a new firmware comes out then i gotta pay again!
