My new house is almost finished and I want to purchase my first satellite system. I haven't a clue about what's out there. Can someone give me a brief summary of the latest products? I want a system that is capable of sending high definition signals to a least two rooms, preferably more. Price is not an issue though I don't pay a lot a money for extra fluff.
In addition, I want to buy a Tivo System to go with it. I read about Tivo packaged with Direct TV systems, but am I better of buying the Tivo separately given my HD needs?
I have a Toshiba HD TV for the family room( with no HD receiver), and I plan to buy a HD projector for my dedicated theater room.
