I tried to search but the server was being goofy causeing some errors in the search feature.


watched SPR DTS last night and I was wondering if we had any waterfall charts floating around.


1 The opening invasion scene has TONS of LFE so really anything from that would be cool.


2 I think the 1hr and 28min mark had some deep bass


3 The last fight scene where the tanks keep rolling in.....again, tons of LFE!



My PB-12 NSD sounded really really great with this movie........i was impressed. Just wanted to see some charts to compare

I've had the DTS version for years and was never all that impressed with it's "low" bass. SPR really doesn't have much below 30Hz. Sure the tank at the end has bass but it's more loud than low http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...pr#post7643286 . Great movie though.

I was only playing this two days go ix six-track Dolby digital with centre back and overhead surrounds engaged and the wrath it unleashed in the sub bass extension and LFE.1 sound like an earthquake via the JBL THX sound system down to 25Hz @115dbc in the centre of the room!

I have a dts option on the DVD but I hardly ever use it except dts laserdiscs.

I love the clatter of the German machine guns in the opening beach scene.

SPR along with JP is no bass king look at the waterfall graph.

Why would I need to look at that when I have each channel rigged to a spectrum analyser, and please don't use that language that was unpleasant
