So, I'm finally getting my projector and will be connecting the pj to my Radeon via DVI-D. Are scoped settings applicable to a digital signal? Or only to analog/VGA?

Thanks.

Sorry, don't follow 'scoped'?

I am trying to get my ATI 7500 AIW connected to my Cinema 12SF via the DVI connection, not as easy as you'd think!

The scoped settings are basically reading the output of the video card under an oscilloscope to determine what the optimal overlay settings are for a white, black, etc. signal.

My assumption is that it only applies to an analog connection.

What kind of projector and where are you getting a cable from (length)?

I have a Sony HS10 on order from Japan (not from the online store whose name shall not be mentioned on AVS...)

I will be using DVI-D from a Radeon 7500 AIW into the DVI input on the projector. By all accounts, hitting 1024x768 should be cake, getting 1366x768 may be a little more difficult.

The DVI cable will come from Fry's... as my cable run will not be longer than 6ft. It'll be 6ft if I mount the projector on a shelf on the wall, under 1ft (the cable will probably be 6ft long anyway) if I just toss it on top of my htpc.
