Ran to HD last night to pick up the drop cloth that I have been reading about. I think I got the smaller size though. Oh well, I need to return some stuff tonight anyway, so I already had a trip planned.
Anyway, as I was wasting 90 minutes covering every aisle of the store (yes, lots of projects coming up) I wandered down the blinds aisle. Well, they had some blinds on clearance. I figured "what the heck" and started rummaging.
Well, I think it paid off. I was able to score a heavyweight light blocking blind in white (their top of the line window shade) in a 73" x 66" size. Now this is not the largest screen I could make, but it should do until I can build the better screen.
Anyway, this blind was horribly mismarked. I was able to pull it off the rack for a whopping $5.00.
I will try it out and post the results this weekend (hopefully). My to-do list is starting to turn into a small novel, so I may not get much time with the LT150. Besides, I need to finish building the HTPC first.
