Backlighting is only really necessary with a direct view set I've heard.

Screen Backlighting
Sorry if this has been discussed before (couldn't find it if it had..).
I have the panny AE500 (projector) with a 77" diag screen. Will backlighting help with this? I think the rope lighting will be the easiest to mount in my set up. But it is not 6500k.
Thoughts?
