I am installing an Epson 6500UB projector in my basement theater room which has pretty good light control. The dilemna is that I want the versatility to be able to watch with enough ambient light to read while I'm viewing without sacrificing too much on the image quality when watching movies without any ambient light. Some knowledgeable videophiles have told me I can get away with a high quality white screen and don't need the Stewart Firehawk G3 since the Epson is such a high lumen projector. I also have recessed can lighting that will throw light down as opposed to out against the walls. Anyone have thoughts as to whether I should go with the Firehawk or can I get away with a high quality white screen?
