All digital projectors have screen door effect, if you get close enough. LCD are the worst offenders. It varies from model to model and higher resolution lessens the screen door effect. The rule of thumb is to be atleast 1.5x times your screen width for an LCD projector so screen door is not noticable. With a DLP, you can usually get about twice as close before it is noticalbe.
