For CRT projector…..what type of white paint is the best to make a screen out of? I’ll be painting directly onto the wall. I know Goo is available, but I’m looking for a cheap and quick solution. I can do DDog's formula, but I'm not sure if it's for CRT, since it's silver. Thanks.

I had pretty good luck with either flat or eggshell version of Behr Ultra pure white. Have since upgraded to a Dalite High power though.

It's hard to beat a premium grade Artist's Acrylic Gesso, when it comes to cheap solutions for CRT use.

Curry's has the Tri-Art brand that Ken recommended a few months ago. Make sure it's matte opaque white.
