Due to my ceiling being higher than I expected, I'll need to mount my Stewart StudioTek 130 Electriscreen about 10 inches below the ceiling using chains (and the eyebolts provided).


Is that going to shake or sway when watching a movie? Also, will it need time to "settle" when I first lower it?

My screen is heavy though, and motorized. Hopefully it won't sway either.

Actually the heavier the screen, the less it should budge. Heavy stuff takes more power to move, right?

The last four people that had mounted there screens on some type of chain or thin cable systems, that I know of, did not have any problems. Make sure to close the windows!
